There are people in this world who will always feel like something is so wrong with them that they will always be outsiders because no one can understand them and they can't understand anyone else. They never grow out of that way everyone feels when they're 13. They even begin to develop a sense of pride over the matter, like its an affirmation of their uniqueness, and the pride alienates them further as they build their ego around rejection. They continue to make decisions that separate them from potential friends and opportunities that they probably had hoped for but aren't strong enough anymore to risk acknowledging. And while they're seeking ways to make life easier for themselves it actually becomes more difficult.
