If ever you get caught staring off into nowhere thinking about things you don't want to say and you're asked what you're thinking about it a good thing to say is, "mint juleps" and then smile.


Also, on the other hand, if you catch someone staring off into nowhere you should not ask them, "What are you looking at?" as that is confrontational and disruptive and furthermore, you know they're not looking at anything, they're just thinking. Instead, you should ask what they're thinking about and also, if they say "mint juleps" you should leave it at that.


That's what I personally think anyhow.
