Life is pretty surreal lately and I don't think this is the fault of mercury retrograde in the slightest. No, this is at least 50 percent my own doing. The dry, weird, fire weather is a nice background for these feelings. Kind of makes a person feel like they're in the opening scene of the movie about The Doors when Jim Morrison is walking through the desert and neither he nor the viewer (for that matter) has any idea what is going on.

I am wishing that I could gain remote access to other people's thoughts this week. A more clever person wouldn't need tricks like that and a stronger person might not even concern themselves very heavily with the thoughts of other people. But...

There is something to be said for patiently waiting for emotions to wash over you and then waiting some more to figure out what to do with them once they have. It's been a long life of fighting them off.
